One of my favorite things to shoot as a Virginia Beach photographer is a family session to help capture memories. I recently got to hang out with wonderful parents who now have a 7-month-old baby boy. They were eager to document this unique stage in their lives after not having professional photos taken since their wedding in 2021.
They wanted a natural feel for this shoot and weren’t after anything overly fancy or too posed. We chose a location with different elements in Hampton, Virginia. It gave us the look of different locations with the ease of not having to travel with a baby. I loved their outfit choices for the day. They chose neutral colors that complemented each other and the location. The looks were simple and comfortable, which helped them to feel at ease throughout the shoot.
We can sometimes feel like we need a big event or milestone in order to document our lives. The truth is, there is such incredible beauty in the different stages our families go through.
